Brighton boss Russell Slade admits his side will have to turn the form book upside down to snatch three points against Hartlepool this weekend.
The Seagulls' defeat by Oldham last Saturday was their fifth reverse in seven games at the Withdean this season, while Hartlepool have lost only twice on the road.
"They have always been a tough nut to crack at home, but now away from home they seem to have improved," said Slade.
"I think they will be a little more direct than a few of the sides we have played more recently.
"It will be a test of a different nature from that point of view, so again we will roll our sleeves up and fight for the first ball, fight for the second and hopefully get the ball down and play better than we did last Saturday."
