Northampton manager Ian Sampson is hoping to get one over on former team-mate Chris Hargreaves when the Cobblers travel to Torquay this weekend.

Hargreaves, 37, is still playing for Torquay and was a hugely popular member of the squad alongside Sampson at Sixfields between 2000 and 2004.

"It will be nice to see Chris, he had four good years here and we played a lot of games together," Sampson said. "We'll have a chat before the game no doubt and I hope to be saying 'unlucky son' after the game."

He added: "It will be a difficult game without a doubt but we have good attacking players available now and we are confident of playing anyone."
