Australia international Rhys Williams has revealed new Middlesbrough manager Gordon Strachan is already stamping his mark on the training ground.
Strachan this week took over from the sacked Gareth Southgate and Williams admits his methods are already getting across.
He told the club`s official website: "The new gaffer has come in with his assistant, Garry [Pendrey], and they`ve put their names on things. It`s disciplined, training is a lot higher tempo and it`s what we need.
"He`s a good coach and we`re a young set of lads so it`s only going to benefit us and the club and let`s hope we can take it into Saturday`s game."
Meanwhile, a solitary strike from Gary Martin earned a youthful reserves side - featuring no-one with first-team experience - victory over Huddersfield.
