Tate brushes off suspension concerns

Swansea defender Alan Tate insists the worry of suspension won't affect his performance against Scunthorpe at the weekend.

The left-back is currently on four yellow cards and if he was to pick up a fifth of the season at Glanford Park, he would miss the south Wales derby against Cardiff with a one-match ban.

"Of course it's on your mind when you are on four bookings, but it will just be one of those things if it happens," he told the Evening Post.

"It's something I've been thinking about with the Cardiff game and the Newcastle game coming up, but if it does happen it's just unlucky.

"I won't go into Scunthorpe thinking about it. I won't be shying away from tackles or anything like that, you know that's not me."
