Wrexham defender Shaun Pejic is adamant that the Football League's bottom club can confidently overturn their perilous position. The 25-year-old made his sixth start of the season in last Sunday's 2-2 derby draw with Chester in what was manager Brian Little's first match in charge.
The Dragons, who are a point adrift at the bottom of the table, are confident they can accumulate points and climb the table.
Pejic told the Wrexham and Flintshire Evening Leader: "It is still a long season with a lot of games to go. We are not looking too far ahead. We are just taking every game as it comes and take on board what the manager tells us in training. We have to try and get points from each game we play.
"It is important to get across that we will not be easy to be beat and our heads won't go down. We need to keep it tight and remain switched on."
