  1. Of course, Delpotro and other players who beat Murray are always sneaking and squeezing, while eurosport hero Murray is always over rated and over hyped, damn biased articles...

  8. I was pleased to see the gentle giant beat Soderling last night and will be happy for him or Davydenko to win the final today - both great players AND pleasant guys too.

  14. Del Potro is confirming his star quality by consistently producing the goods on the big points. The first point of the final set tie-breaker was a memorable example. I think the key to the final might be Davydenko's serving. If he can play with a good percentage of 1st serves, his current form suggests he can more than hold his own with anybody in the rallies. Delpo looks daunting when he steps in to return second serves. After such a tough week, fatigue could play a part.

  15. Davydenko should win! This guy totally deserves it at this moment! Del Potro will definitely win this tournament in the years to come...Davai Kolya!

  17. I am for Davydenko tomorrow, not because I think that DelPo isn't good enough, he is fantastic, a lot better than some others in the top ten. It's just that Davydenko is 28 and hasn't many years left on the tour while DelPo has his whole career ahead of him and he'll probably win this particular tournament many times over anyway.

  20. Great for Davydenko and Del Potro to compete on a world stage: one of the best of the older players and definitely the best of the very new. Del Potro has weathered the storms of both Federer and Nadal and has had too little support from fans who haggled over "Mono-Knees" challenges of what seemed likle the "only" players. And Davydenko played solidly through and prevailed over the vain efforts of the "Doping Narks" who sharpend their teeth, hoping to end his career.. Good things are happening in pro tennis. Enjoy! Whoever wins tomorrow, I sincerely hope no fans will start the "cheater...etc.." crappy posts to cast a pall over the glory..
