Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore was critical of his side's defending following the 2-2 draw with Luton in the second round of the FA Cup.
Rotherham led 2-1 through Adam Le Fondre and Stephen Brogan after Tom Craddock had given the Hatters the lead from the penalty spot.
However substitute Mark Nwokeji equalised 15 minutes from time to force a replay at Kenilworth Road.
Moore said: "It wasn't the result we wanted, but we gave away two sloppy goals. The penalty was just unbelievable.
"How naive to get done like that, but then when we went 2-1 up I thought there was only going to be one winner. I was probably the most comfortable I have been in the dugout since I've been here.
"But we have cut our own throats, a silly square ball and they have gone through us like a knife through butter, but if you play square balls you are always going to get in trouble. That's the annoying thing for me because at 2-1 I thought we were cruising."
