Iain Dowie plans to strengthen his Coventry squad before the transfer window closes with a goalkeeper top of his list of priorities. The Sky Blues boss has made no secret of his intention to sign a keeper with Andy Marshall sidelined with a back problem.
Dowie has irons in the fire but insists it will not be a disaster if he fails to bring someone in before Thursday's deadline.
"We hope to do some business and we do have things brewing. A goalkeeper has been in our thoughts for a while now," said Dowie.
"We are certainly in the market but if nothing happens then we have the loan system available to us the week after, so there is no panic."
Asked whether Huddersfield's Matt Glennon was a potential target, Dowie added: "I won't talk about individual players because we have had that happen to us with people like Leon Best and it is very disrespectful."
