Harford keeping faith in Hatters

Wed 30 Jan, 03:45 PM

Luton manager Mick Harford declared "there's still enough time for us to get out of trouble" after his side's woeful 1-0 defeat to Swindon.Christian Roberts' in the second-half strike leaves the Hatters six points away from safety and Harford admitted his side had hit rock bottom.

He said: "In some scenarios it needs to get worse before it gets better and this was about as low as you can go.

"We never got started and the performance was very poor from start to finish.

"We tried to shake it up at half-time and made some changes but we were second to every ball and didn't have a decent player on the pitch.

"We're in a relegation battle and we need to start winning games but I'll always remain positive. There are 18 games to go and there's still enough time for us to get out of trouble."
