Preston have completed the signing of Scottish defender Michael Hart for an undisclosed fee from Aberdeen.The 27-year-old right-back was due to reach the end of his contract at the end of the season and had rejected the chance to extend his deal at Pittodrie.

Hart is currently out of action with a hip injury.

Pittodrie director of football Willie Miller commented on the club website: "From our perspective, we've reached a satisfactory conclusion to the affair and we wish Michael all the very best for the future."
