Leyton Orient manager Martin Ling admitted Walsall dominated the game and deserved the win after the sides completed a goalless draw. The Saddlers extended their unbeaten league run to 17 games, but missed the chance of the match when Darren Wrack dived to head wide from close range.
"They passed the ball a lot better than we did, but we have ground out a valuable point and could have pinched it at the end, which would have been an injustice to Walsall on the 90 minutes," said Ling.
"Walsall and ourselves are two of the smaller clubs up there amongst some big clubs. If either one of us finished in the top six it would be a real achievement."
