Motherwell have called a 3pm pitch inspection ahead of Wednesday night's match against Celtic in the Scottish Premier League.The Fir Park pitch was fit to play in the morning however Motherwell have called the precautionary inspection as heavy rain is expected during the afternoon and evening.

Several matches at Fir Park have been called off due to the weather recently and Gretna, who have been tenants at the ground this season, opted to move Monday's Scottish Cup replay against Morton to Queen of the South's Palmerston Park.
