Southampton have been hit with another defensive injury after left-back Gregory Vignal suffered a broken arm against Norwich on Tuesday night.The Frenchman suffered the injury in a challenge with City's Jon Otsemobor during Saints' 1-0 Championship defeat at St Mary's.

An X-ray has confirmed the break and Vignal, who has only recently had a settled run in the side, is likely to be out of action for a month.

Fellow defenders Alexander Ostlund, Claus Lundekvam, Chris Makin and Darren Powell have all been sidelined for long periods this season.
