Aberdeen new boy Josh Walker is relishing his chance to star in next month's UEFA Cup tie against Bayern Munich. The 18-year-old could go straight into the Dons side after completing his loan move from Middlesbrough.
His debut may come in next Tuesday's CIS Insurance Cup semi-final against Dundee United at Tynecastle.
And February promises to be an unforgettable month for Aberdeen, with their last-32 clash against Bayern coming up.
Walker's 19th birthday falls on February 21, the date of the second leg in Germany.
"It is a great time to be coming to the club with some many big games coming up," Walker told RedTV.
"Everyone has been telling me about the Bayern Munich games, home and away, so there is a lot for me to look forward to."
Walker knows fellow Aberdeen loan recruit Sone Aluko from the England age-group teams, and is looking forward to playing alongside the Birmingham youngster again.
"Knowing Sone was obviously a help," said Walker. "As soon as I heard Aberdeen were interested I phoned him and he was full of praise for the club.
"I have come here to get first-team experience."
