Hartlepool manager Neale Cooper has spoken of his admiration for teenage striker Luke James.
James, 17, scored twice in the 4-0 weekend win over Carlisle to take his tally to three in eight appearances for Pools since making his first-team breakthrough against Colchester on December 17.
Cooper told the club's official website: "Everyone was superb, but it was another outstanding performance from Luke James.
"I'm not just talking about his goals, but he's just not scared of anything and to have that courage at such a young age is great.
"I knew how hard the game would be, but we played some brilliant stuff. Everyone did the work they were asked to do, so overall I'm so chuffed for the boys."
