Sun 30 Mar, 03:15 PM

A controversial refereeing decision that set Swansea on the road to a 3-1 victory against Hartlepool split the opinions of the managers. With the score at 1-1 on the stroke of half-time, official Lee Probert pointed to the spot following what appeared to be a good challenge from Ben Clark on Jason Scotland.

The Swansea striker dusted himself down to score from 12-yards and notch his 29th goal of the season.

"The referee got it right," said Swansea manager Roberto Martinez. "You have to be careful with tackles in the area like that.

"While he got the ball he also got the player and I felt that while it was a key decision, it was also the right decision."

"I was delighted with the win, and particularly with the way we came back after conceding an early goal," said Martinez.
