McCall hails beautiful Bantams

Sun 30 Mar, 06:00 PM

Bradford manager Stuart McCall was delighted the result and his side's performance in their 3-1 victory at promotion-chasing Darlington. However, he was left frustrated not with the goal his side conceded when Clark Keltie scored from the spot after Barry Conlon was adjudged to have handled.

McCall said: "From where I was standing Baz (Conlon) controlled the ball with his stomach and it looked to be a poor decision, but we said at half-time that the next goal was key and let's go for the win because this would put more pressure on Darlington and none of the pressure would be on us."

McCall was delighted with the contribution from Conlon, saying: "There are a few contracts up at the end of the season and Baz is one of them but his good play is paying dividends and that's now three in his last four games."
