Germany's women's handball squad have qualified for the Beijing Olympics after winning their opening two matches at a tournament in Leipzig.
Germany scraped past Sweden 27-26 before beating Croatia 22-16 on Saturday at a four-team qualifier in Leipzig.
The top two teams automatically qualify for the Aug. 8-24 Games and either Sweden or Croatia, who play on Sunday, will be the other successful team.
Romania have also qualified from a tournament in Bucharest.
Hungary face Japan on Sunday to decide the other qualifier.
In a third qualifier in Nimes, France are level on three points with South Korea while Congo have two. Congo play France on Sunday and South Korea play Ivory Coast.
China, Russia, Norway, Angola, Kazakhstan and Brazil had already qualified for the 12-team tournament at the Games
