Franciso Leonelli scored a first-half hat-trick as Saracens brought Leeds Carnegie crashing back down to earth at the Majedski Stadium.
Leeds entered the game buoyed by last week's scintillating win against Newcastle Falcons, but their slim hopes of Premiership survival were crushed by a rampant Saracens.
Nick Lloyd put the home side ahead with a score after just five minutes, before winger Leonelli went over three times in a devastating 15-minute rampage - effectively ending the game as a contest.
Adam Powell completed the first-half try scorers, and a demoralised Leeds went into the break trailing 33-0 - looking every bit a side ill-equipped for life in the top tier of English rugby.
In the second half, Saracens were relentless. Lock Hugh Vyvyan scored minutes after the re-start, and there was time for substitute Tom Ryder to bag a try before winger Kameli Ratuvou made it a half-century of points just after the hour mark.
Glen Jackson was next up, going over for the solitary try of his 21 points.
To their credit, Leeds dug deep and somehow found the momentum to score a consolation try with five minutes remaining through lock Stuart Hooper. James Brooks converted.
This was a cruel afternoon for the doomed visitors, however, and Saracens full-back Brent Russell ensured the game ended as it began with a last-minute converted try to take the score to 66-7.
