Iffy Onoura has revealed that Lincoln's recent run of impressive form has allowed boss Peter Jackson to "concentrate on solely getting better".Jackson is currently receiving treatment after being diagnosed with throat cancer in February and Onoura admitted despite his condition the 49-year-old is still keeping close tabs in the Imps progress.

"The management team went up to see him on Monday and he was a bit brighter," Onoura told the club's official website.

"He was delighted with the weekend's result against Morecambe. He wanted us to finish the season strongly and knowing that the lads are picking up the results has helped him concentrate on solely getting better."
