Wed 30 Apr, 12:15 PM

Manager Alan Pardew has called on Charlton to finish a disappointing season on a high by beating Coventry in the final game of the season. The Sky Blues visit The Valley with their Championship survival still in the balance, while Charlton have nothing to play for after falling out of play-off contention.

Having suffered an embarrassing 3-0 defeat at Barnsley last weekend, Pardew is looking for the players to give the Addicks fans something to cheer.

"Our fans will be coming on Sunday, and we'll have to put on a display with character, tenacity and a bit of quality," Pardew told the club's official website.

"The players need to show some spirit, and we are looking to finish the season on a high note. First and foremost we want to give our home fans something to cheer.

"We want to end the season on a positive note and make sure that everyone has something to look forward to over the summer."
