Carlisle defender Paul Reid has declared himself fit for Saturday's home clash with Bournemouth despite being hampered by an ankle problem.Reid has made just one appearance - in the 2-1 home defeat against Southend - since rejoining the club on loan from Barnsley last month.
But the 26-year-old will play through the pain barrier if required as the Blues bid to keep their automatic promotion hopes alive with victory over the struggling Cherries.
"All I can do is strap my ankle up and give it a go," Ward told the Carlisle News & Star.
"It's an important game for Carlisle and I'm desperate to play.
"I've not been able to run or kick a ball since I suffered the injury. I've been putting ice on the ankle and it's still very sore but I want to give it a go on Saturday."
