Cardiff Devils have signed Canadian forward Derek Campbell from Elite League rivals Basingstoke Bison for the 2008-09 season.
The 26-year-old registered 18 goals and 30 assists in 58 games for Bison last term, his first in the UK.
Devils coach Gerad Adams said: "Derek is fast and we need more speed than we had last season. He can play in all three forward spots and his aggression with speed will help on our forecheck. He has a great shot and I will expect him to score some goals for us."
Adams also revealed he has verbally agreed terms with British duo Matt Towe and Jason Stone.
