Bayern Munich defender Lucio has rejected rumours linking him with a move away from the Allianz Arena.

The former Bayer Leverkusen centre-half was linked with a move away from the club earlier in the campaign, with Spanish giants Barcelona thought to be interested in adding him to their Brazilian contingent.

But the 29-year-old Brazil international, whose contract does not expire for another two years, has reiterated his desire to stay put in Bavaria.

"I have made my decision," he told German newspaper Bild. "I have no reason to leave here, I will stay with Bayern."

Lucio - who won the World Cup with Brazil in 2002 - is an integral part of the Bayern defence that is on course to set a new record for the lowest number of goals conceded in a Bundesliga season.
