Liga outfit Getafe are set to complete the signing of promising young players Eugen Polanski and Ibrahim Kas.

Ball-winning midfielder Polanski, 22, a Germany Under-21 international, will join from Borussia Moenchengladbach. His contract is due to expire this summer.

Centre-half Kas, 21, hopes to be included in the Turkey squad for the European Championships this summer after impressing for Besiktas.

Getafe president Angel Torres, still to guarantee the future of promising coach Michael Laudrup for next season amid rumours of a move to a bigger club, is not expected to shell out more than £1.5 million for the pair.

Los Azulones are also looking to take more prospects on loan from big city neighbours Real Madrid in the future. Madrid are coached by former Getafe boss Bernd Schuster.

Getafe are 13th in the Liga table and were knocked out of the UEFA Cup quarter-finals this season by Bayern Munich on away goals after a thrilling 3-3 second-leg draw at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.
