Orlando Magic three-times All-Star center Dwight Howard has been suspended one game for elbowing Philadelphia 76ers center Samuel Dalembert in the head.

The incident occurred during the first quarter of the Magic's 91-78 play-off victory over the 76ers Tuesday night in Orlando.

Howard, who has averaged 24 points and nearly 16 rebounds a game in the play-offs, will serve his suspension Thursday night when the Magic visit the 76ers in game six of the series.

The Magic will also be without starting guard Courtney Lee, who suffered a fractured sinus during Tuesday's game.

Orlando leads the Eastern Conference quarter-final series 3-2.
