Stoke striker James Beattie could come into contention for the Barclays Premier League match against West Ham on Saturday at the Britannia Stadium.
Beattie is making good progress from a thigh injury after having to sit out the defeat by Fulham last weekend.
Manager Tony Pulis said: "We will make a late decision on James - it will be down to him. It will be left until right before kick-off."
He added: "He is doing fine but we are not sure if this game is a week too early for him. We will take a view on it on Saturday."
