Premiership - Liverpool have signed Swedish starlet Alexander Kacaniklic from Helsingborg.

The Reds have paid £73 500 for the 15-year-old, who told Swedish daily Expressen: "I had to seize this opportunity."

He will now move to Merseyside with his family in August.

Liverpool have also strengthened their youth team with the signings of Hungarian duo Krisztian Nemeth and Andras Simon from MTK Hungaria.

Both players represented their country in the European Under-17 Championships last summer.
