League One outfit Doncaster have announced a highly-anticipated pre-season friendly with Gary Megson 's Premier League side Bolton.Newly-promoted Rovers will take on Gary Megson's side at the Keepmoat Stadium on Friday, August 1.

Bolton survived a season-long relegation battle with a home win over Sunderland and a 1-1 draw at Chelsea in their final two league matches.

Doncaster, who reached the second tier for the first time in 50 years with their 1-0 League One play-off final win over Leeds at Wembley, will also play Scunthorpe at the Keepmoat on Saturday, July 19 (3pm).
