best player in the world
lmao , getachew i think has neevr ever said anything at all belionging in reality lmao... a true real fan ;)
getachew, Messi had well more assists than Ronaldo this season. You say he has no assists, he had over or around 10 in La Liga along with his goals.
You must ignore stats, never watch Barca, and/or simply ignore reality and live in your own little world.
getachew44, Ronaldo plays the role of Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Henry, Eto'o all in one!!!?? Messi plays for himself and not the club, but Ronaldo plays for the club?
Put the crack pipe down for 15 minutes why don't you? Because that stuff will kill you! :)
How can you even justify that Ronaldo plays more with his team than Messi. That is completely and utterly ridiculous. Look at the stats from the CL game. Messi had like 50 GP and 11 BP (good pass/bad pass) or something like that. Ronaldo was 20 GP 8 BP or something. Messi gives ball to his teammates more than 3 times that of Ronaldo.
Ronaldo is all those players in 1 because he TRIES to do everything these players do ALL BY HIMSELF. Ronaldo in CL final was this. Get ball, dribble forward as fast as he can, blast 50 yard shot or get ball stolen off of him. He didn't even look to get anyone other than himself involved in the game. As the passing stats clearly indicated.
@ 40 Madrid still won't win, they need stability and that Perez will just keep changing players and managers.U'll see
what we are missing here is the team work.. xavi and iniesta create.. but with messi drawing 2 or more defenders towards himself, they get more space to operate.. and then on they can put the killer through ball or the cross..
in the final, all three were phenomenal - xavi, iniesta and messi... etoo was brilliant too - scoring the first goal and then on creating havoc with his runs.. henry was clearly subdued. not fully fit. so xavi and iniesta did not involve him much in the game...
defence.. pique was phenomenal.. toure was out of place once in a while.. clearly holding mid suits him best.
puyol was again brilliant. had rooney and ronaldo in his pocket. also created the messi goal with his interception..
every one of these were essential for the barca victory.. one single player cannot be chosen. but if i had to, i would pick xavi. he was everywhere. he just ruled the midfield. and dont know how but it seems impossible to mark him. this barca team seems unbeatable on its best day... i wish the joy continues... :)
Barcelona is a football God factory... no other team produces so many and then to top it off they know how to buy as well... Every other team in the world is screwed for the next 2-4 years AT LEAST.
ignore that getachew loser. he still hurts when messi destroyed his team (real madrid)
if it wasnt iniesta then it was pique. 3 blocks which would have been goals were blocked by him...
there can only be one champion among champions, barca has taking the lead and no one can take it away from them.congratulations and really wishing you more treble next season.we are solidly behind you.
matthew gabriel
surely iniesta has been outstanding all this season but barca is not a one man team sure the have the likes of messi, iniesta, xavi and etooo etc but they work togather they play passionative football and thats what helped them win the treble well done barca am proud of use
surely barca are the best club in the world
The forward 3 doesnt really matter for Barca, they're known for just how much goals they scored altogether, but without Barca's midfield, i dont think they will score anywhere near what they've done. Also, a big congratulations to Pep Guardiola who has done at barca in his first season. That is nothing short of miracle. A real contender for the best manager ever. Big future awaits.
Man United fan here.
I don't get all this fuss about Lionel Messi, to be honest. Okay, Messi is undoubtedly a great player but in my opinion Iniesta proved himself. Why? It was Iniesta's late equaliser against Chelsea that got Barcelona into the final, leaving aside the polemics about the referee, and it was Iniesta who set up the first, perhaps killer, goal against United. Therefore in two games he was decisive- one could argue that it was INIESTA who won the CL 2008-2009 for Barcelona and not Lionel Messi- if any ONE player can ever be held to be so decisive, afterall it's a team effort, isn't it?
the selfish boy will end like ronaldinho wait 2/3 years
atleast ronaldinho help alot he make alot of assist
i hope ronaldo come to la liga and end this arrogant and selfish once and for all
let us face the fact
if you want the truth put your feeling away
who is more taleted? sure messi, who is better physicaly? ofcorse ronaldo, who is better in air? 100% ronaldo, who is more faster than the other? again ronaldo, who plays with both feet? for sure ronaldo, who is important for his team? ronaldo
last (Q?) Who is best player in the world?
RONALDO
Messi shine alot because he play beside two best striker in world (eto and henry) and two best play maker in world (xavi and iniesta) if ronaldo have those players he is by miles better
ronaldo is alone in united,
ronaldo has change the understanding of football, why?
because he is to scorer, assistance, winger, midfielder and playmaker
ronaldo in united play the role of xavi iniesta eto messi and henry in barca
he is everything
one last thing messi play for himself more than the club
he is like maradona told selfish
who is ronaldo? Puyol walk over him
and getachew44 this article is about barca players not madshit
i haven't seen more stupied than you are simply @#$%
dream somewhere else
Well, it is just sad to see that Man U fans are just jealous of Messi, simply because they want to compare him with Ronaldo, that gutted cheat (who is leaving your club anyway!). Messi played a very big game and you can't say he didn't. Man U defence was shattered to pieces because of his role in central midfield. You can't say he did nothing. You jealousy will kill you. Who is Ronaldo? a complete player with very great cheating abilities and thick ego!
F@#k yea Barcelona 4 life
hey keep the best iniesta xavi and messi
we madridista need eto henry tore riberyand kaka(my men)
you'll buy villa fabrigas and ibrahimovic
