Everton manager David Moyes said Chelsea were deserved winners in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
Everton went ahead through Louis Saha's early strike, but goals from Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard took Guus Hiddink's Chelsea to victory.
"I look back with a lot of pleasure in getting the team to the final," Moyes said. "Chelsea were the better team on the day, I can't argue with that
"Lampard is a big player who scored big goals and that's what he's done today. I thought we had our best spell after he scored, but the better team won.
"The margin was narrow in the score, but there were bigger margins on the pitch.
"Last year was the semi-finals, now the final, so hopefully we'll win something next season. The team's been progressing year on year, whether we won or lost this was progress."

As a Chelsea fan I am glad that the club won something this season,
As a Football Fan, Everton and my namesake David Moyes showed how a club takes to the field of play and wins the respect of the nation.
Well done Chelsea, but well done Everton
Fantastic game
Scots @#$% got
he is a great manager coz he is a scot simple . . . THE EPL WOULDNT BE WHERE IT IS WITHOUT SCOTTISH MANAGERS . . . FACT
I hope the new manager for chelsea is similar to guus hiddink!!

WHOS SICK OF MOANIN SCUM
HAR HAR HAR
Thank You David Moyes.Today your side were defeated but Everton fans can be pleased with your players who gave it all.One of the best F.A.Cup Finals in recent years and your team was part of it.
nice and refreshing to hear a manager loose with dignity and not look to blame the ref's, linesmen or tom @#$% and harry, some managers in the game talk about respect all the time but show non, they should take a leaf out of this manager book , a top man i just hope we can give him the money he needs to take us on another step and into the top 4
great coach! a lot of respect. Most likely he will be coaching Chelsea or Man U in the near future!
i think that moyes is a very honest manager and he deserved to win everton build their players they dont buy them
I think that David Moyes will get the next UTD job when Fergie leaves. I would like to see someone like david moyes to come to arsenal. We're another club who aren't that financially supported. Arsenal might be rich but we are still in debt even after selling off highbury.
what a gracious manager in defeat, moyles you deserved better. CHELSEA BY BIRTH, NOT GLORY.
Ah i feel sorry for the Everton manager :(
Unlucky guys 2-1 not bad against chelsea!
Chelsea FC Fan
Moyes is a stand up guy. Everton doesn't have the money of Chelsea and couldn't afford to lose Arteta. Might have been a different game if he hadn't been injured. Cahill looked hurt as well, not at his best. Too bad
honest manager ;)
unlucky everton from a man utd fan moyles gracious in defeat it was a ok game 4 a final
very true!
humble and honest. Mr Moyes is truly a legendary manager in the making. Low Budgets and some mediocre players and he still manages to provide results like 5th in the league, unless the Evorton board find some finance i think he has to be considered a front runner for a big club.
