A brilliant half century from man-of-the-match Owais Shah gave England a five wicket victory over the West Indies in the second Twenty20 international at the Oval.
A Dimitri Mascarenhas boundary on the penultimate ball gave England the victory.
Chris Gayle top-scored for the Windies with a superb 61, while Marlon Samuels struck 42 as the Windies set the hosts a reasonable target of 169.
But England looked ragged and were facing defeat when they were reduced to 68 for four after Kevin Pietersen was caught and bowled by Darren Sammy and, despite a good start to his innings, captain Paul Collingwood could only hit 27.
But a quickfire 55 from Shah - including 16 runs in one late over - saw England set up a cracking finish which required six runs off the final over. Windies captain Chris Gayle shouldered the responsibility but Shah and Mascarenhas did not crack and their 69-run partnership - off only 36 balls - gave Collingwood his first win as captain.
