Cheltenham defender Gavin Caines has put pen to paper on a new one-year contract with the League One club.The 24-year-old former Walsall trainee is currently out of action as he recovers from knee surgery but is expected to be available come September.

Caines is the latest player to commit his future to Town after the recent signings of Craig Armstrong, Jerry Gill, Scott Brown and Andy Gallinagh - leaving just Ashley Vincent and Alan Wright yet to agree new contracts.
