Hartlepool director of sport Chris Turner has urged fans to be patient as the club bids to make progress in the transfer market.Pools have so far made just one summer signing, with midfielder Alan Power arriving on a free transfer from Nottingham Forest.
Manager Danny Wilson is keen to bring in another two players to Victoria Park, and Turner told the Hartlepool Mail: "The transfer market is very quiet at the moment and there are not many teams bringing players in.
"It will heat up as soon as we get into July, when managers and players start coming back off their holidays. Contracts also finish at the end of June, which is a bit of a barrier.
"It is a frustrating time for supporters when no new players are coming in, but I can assure our fans that we are looking at players. If they can just be a bit patient, they will see a few new players for the start of the season."
