Midfielder Simon Walton is confident he can relaunch his QPR career after being reunited with manager Iain Dowie.Dowie signed Walton for Charlton in 2006 before the 20-year-old moved to Loftus Road in July 2007 for £200,000, only to endure an injury-laden spell.
And Walton admits, before Dowie's appointment in west London, he was worried that his Rangers career could have been over before it had begun.
"It has turned around nicely," Walton told the club's official website.
"My career has not started too well and there is only one way to go. Hopefully with Iain Dowie coming in I get more of a chance to show everybody what I am capable of."
"He is someone who has shown faith in me before and gave me something to look forward to. I am a proud person and I do not like to leave unfinished business."
