Bolt Seals 200m Olympic Berth

Usain Bolt secured a place in Jamaica's 200 metres Olympic team after clocking 19.97 seconds at the national track and field Championships in Kingston.

The 100m world record holder, who holds the Jamaica national record of 19.75secs, was followed home by Marvin Anderson (20.17secs) and Christopher Williams (20.20secs).

On Saturday, Bolt clocked 9.85secs to beat Olympic rival Asafa Powell over 100m in Kingston.

In the women's 200 metres, Olympic champion Veronica Campbell-Brown, who failed to qualify for the 100m, ran 21.94secs to join Kerron Stewart (21.99secs) and Sherone Simpson (22.11secs) in Beijing.
