Vice-chairman Jeff Mostyn believes the local make-up of Bournemouth's new board is a key ingredient as the club's new owners look to provide some much-needed stability at Dean Court.
Mostyn has returned to the corridors of power as part of the Murry Group which assumed control of the League Two club last week.
He told the Echo: "I think we bring a feeling of stability that you have got local people now, who all have a passion for the football club and that is different to the previous owners.
"The main difference is that we all have a vested interest in the football club."
Mostyn feels the new personnel provided a good mix of experience and fresh approaches, adding: We have got the experience of Steve (Sly), myself and Adam (Murry), and now you have a breath of fresh air with Eddie Mitchell and Neill (Blake) coming in.
"We have all been together now for a few weeks, we have got a better understanding of each other and how we complement each other and how we are going to work together."
