The first Steel City derby of the new Championship season in September has been brought forward to a 12.30pm kick-off at the request of police.
Sheffield United will take on Sheffield Wednesday at Bramall Lane in the first league clash on Saturday, September 19.
The return at Hillsborough is scheduled for Saturday, April 17.
The Owls became the first Sheffield side in 95 years last season to record a league derby double, following up a 1-0 win at Hillsborough in October with a 2-1 success at Bramall Lane in February.
