Rochdale manager Keith Hill insists he is happy with his squad ahead of the start of the new campaign.

The Spotland outfit have failed in the play-offs in the past two campaigns, but Hill has recruited goalkeepers Kenny Arthur and Matthew Edwards while several of his squad have penned new contracts.

He said: "We'll look to bring trialists in during pre-season, and if that doesn't happen we'll bring in some of the youth teamers and give them their opportunity.

"We are a club that gives opportunities to younger players, but the players need to take those opportunities in order to develop. There are no outgoings and I don't expect there to be."
