Matty Phillips has signed a one-year extension to his contract with Wycombe.

The 18-year-old striker, who made 40 appearances for the Chairboys last season and won the club's Young Player of the Year award, is now tied to the club until the summer of 2011.

Phillips told club's official website: "I'm very happy to get the contract sorted. I thought I had a decent year last season and I hope to kick on now.

"We are going to be playing some big clubs next season and I'm really looking forward to testing myself against the likes of Leeds, Charlton and so on."
