Hartlepool director of sport Chris Turner is close to completing his sixth summer signing.

Goalkeeper Scott Flinders was the latest arrival at Victoria Park on Friday, joining Adam Boyd, Leon McSweeney, Peter Hartley and Neil Austin at the club.

But Turner`s rebuilding work is seemingly far from complete, as he told the Hartlepool Mail: "We are working on one or two things and we might have something in the next two or three days.

"There are a couple of others that might be a bit longer."
