Warnock: Canaries can bid for Lee

Tue 30 Jun, 11:25 AM

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock has urged Norwich to make him an offer for former Ipswich forward Alan Lee.

The 30-year-old, who played seven times for the Canaries during a loan spell last season, has made it clear he wants to return to Carrow Road and play again under manager Bryan Gunn.

But Warnock is hoping to recoup most of the £600,000 he paid for Lee when he signed him from Ipswich last August.

Warnock told the Croydon Advertiser: "Alan has his heart set on a move to Norwich. I've spoken to Bryan Gunn and told him to make a bid for Alan if he wants him."
