"Pre-season is a very exciting time at a football club. My players have worked very hard physically and I have been pleased with their standard of fitness," Jackett told the club's official website.
"As the games have gone along we have improved as well. We have shown more cohesion, played good football and I'm looking for further improvement now in the final two games we have left so in the Oldham game we really hit the ground running."
