An inexperienced Cardiff side made hard work as they were held to a dour 1-1 draw at League One side Swindon in a pre-season friendly.New signing Miguel Comminges impressed againt his former club and created a chance for Paul Parry to equalise in the first half after Lee Peacock had prodded home for the Robins in the 32nd minute.

Parry did draw Cardiff level three minutes into the second half, firing past substitute goalkeeper Peter Brezovan from outside the penalty area to maintain Cardiff's unbeaten run this summer.

Ajax visit Ninian Park on Friday for the next pre-season game ahead of the new campaign, which kicks-off at home to Southampton on Saturday, August 9.
