The debut of new signing Robert Snodgrass was one of few highlights as Leeds United were held to a 0-0 draw at Darlington on Tuesday night.Leeds manager Gary McAllister was at a loss to explain his side's lacklustre display, but was pleased with Scottish striker Snodgrass, who signed last week from Livingston.
McAllister said: "He's had less than a week with us and it was good to get the chance to give him a run-out. I thought he did ok.
"He showed the bottle to try and get on the ball. He put himself forward, looked to get on the ball and tried to provoke something."
Leeds stretched their unbeaten run to six games during pre-season, but McAllister was unimpressed.
He added: "It wasn't very entertaining. I can't defend that because it was poor. There wasn't a great deal we could take away from that."
