Hartlepool boss Danny Wilson has put the emphasis on increasing fitness levels as his side travel to York on Wednesday evening.Pools will welcome Willie Boland, Ben Clark and David Foley back from injury for the trip to KitKat Crescent as Wilson's men continue their preparations for their League One campaign.
"The lads have had a tough pre-season so far and we're not easing up on them just yet - they've got a couple more games to go before the big one and they'll be ready," Wilson told the club's official website.
"They've done really well to date and this is another chance for some of the players to get some more minutes under their belts.
"York will be looking to push on this season and try and make a charge for the play-offs. They're a big club to be in the Blue Square Premier and we know it will be a good game for us."
The Pools manager also confirmed he has included trialists Marcus Haber - a Canadian striker - and former Manchester United academy defender Jonathan Forbes in the squad to face the Minstermen.
