Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has set his new club the ambitious target of winning the Premier League.
Gomes is expected to be Spurs' No.1 next season following his move from PSV Eindhoven and the departure of Paul Robinson to Blackburn.
Tottenham's long-term aim is to break into the Premier League's top four and manager Juande Ramos has had a busy summer as he attempts to build a squad capable of challenging for a place in the UEFA Champions League.
However, Gomes believes the club should set their sights higher and is eager for domestic glory.
"I am not thinking of just making it into the first four," Gomes told Sky Sports News.
"I am thinking of winning, being first or second, in that range."
"Some people might say I am aiming very high, but that has always been my thinking."
"I think as a champion and I want to win."
