Euro 2008 - Ferguson returns for Scotland

Scotland captain Barry Ferguson returns from suspension to the Scotland squad for their Euro 2008 double header against Lithuania and France.

Scotland manager Alex McLeish named a 25-man squad for the matches on September 8 and 12 respectively, which also included Lee McCulloch and Gary Naysmith.

Jay McEveley and Barry Robson, who made their debuts against South Africa, retain their places.

Meanwhile, Northern Ireland coach Nigel Worthington has also named his 24-man squad for his side's two Euro 2008 qualifiers next month.

Northern Ireland, second in Group F after beating Liechtenstein 3-1 in Belfast last week, face Latvia on September 8 and Iceland on September 12.
