Murphy on fire in Germany

Defending champion Shaun Murphy continued his charge for a second successive Paul Hunter Classic triumph with a 4-2 victory over Andrew Higginson to reach the quarter-finals in Fuerth, Germany.
Murphy, world champion in 2005, will face veteran Steve Davis, after the six-time world champion dispatched of Mark Davis 4-3, in what is part of the Euro Players Tour Championship.
Jimmy White whitewashed Peter Lines and will face Daniel Wells, who beat Alfie Burden 4-2.
Judd Trump, 21, registered a 4-2 triumph over Anthony McGill to setup a clash with 19-year-old Jack Lisowski, who whitewashed Ricky Walden.
And Stuart Bingham, 4-1 winner against Gerard Greene, will do battle with Anthony Hamilton, who defeated Bjorn Haneveer.
