Sun 30 Sep, 03:31 PM

Manager Paul Lambert ranked Wycombe's 1-0 win at Bradford alongside the wins that took the club to the Carling Cup semi-finals last season. The Chairboys beat Premier League sides Fulham and Charlton in last term's cup run before losing to Chelsea in a two-legged semi-final.

Lambert said: "I'm absolutely delighted with the win. I thought the whole team were terrific. Not many teams will come to Bradford and win.

"I think we've got better and better as the season has progressed and we are now seventh in the table."

Lambert had a special word of praise for goalkeeper Frank Fielding, signed on loan from Blackburn the day before the match to cover an injury crisis

"I thought he was excellent. It was a fantastic debut," he added.
